Tezos Betanet Launch

Tezos Betanet has

Officially Launched as of June 30th 2018

If you were an ICO participant you can now redeem your XTZ and they are currently trading on exchanges.

Welcome to the Crypto-Party Tezos!

Tezos Betanet has gone live – the first seven cycles will not reward XTZ for Baking – this is to allow time for everyone to get their ducks in order before the activation of the baking deamon after the 7th cycle. This should be about 3 weeks, each cycle is about 2.5 days.

MyTezosBaker.com provides a full list of Delegated Baking Services including their Fees and Websites details. If you are a Baker looking to get added to their list – they have a Form you can fill out on their site.

Tezzigator which has been featured in our videos before is no longer offering delegated baking services. There are still a plethora of bakers out there – visit mytezosbaker.com for more details.

Should CryptoLiveLeak become a Delegated Baking Service for Tezos? We would love to hear the Communities Response!

In previous News, Tezos Foundation stated they will not hold Veto Power over protocol purposed changes as they had originally planned. Relinquishing central control and empowering the community to take control. This is important because the SEC just deemed ETH and BTC to not be securities as they had no central control and were decentralized. Now that Tezos has these features this should greatly improve their chances of being calssified as a Non-Security. Tezos will have no roadmaps – up the the community to purpose protocol upgrades using the on chain governance and voting mechanisms.

Gate.io is the first exchange to list XTZ – we saw an initial dump then rebound in the price. At first it spiked down to $3 then to $1.10, which is way undervalued. Low volume and limited exchanges lead to the price drop. More exchange listings will come in due time. It seems disgruntled ICO investors have now sold and a upward trend is forming.

XTZ could hit over $100 per XTZ in the next 2-4 years, holders have been through it all. They are hardened to drops, community knows the true value of the XTZ.

Arthur B. released a Dev Update about betanet via his Youtube account. He talks about mempools, decentralization, no roadmap, apps for android and iOS for hard wallets and baking. Turn your cell phone into a baker. In 6 Months the community will vote for Mainnet protocol upgrades.

Tezbox built by TCF board member Stephen Andrews is one of the first Tezos Wallets where ICO investors can activate their Wallets. Tezbox has been awarded an audit of their software by the Tezsos Foundation. Great work Mr. Andrews!

Baking Rewards will be greater then 5.5% per year based on non 100% baking ratio. Not everyone will be baking their XTZ meaning the fixed rate of inflation will be distributed to a smaller pool of people who are participating in Baking operations.
